Adding your first product

What each field on the product form is for.
Products → Add opens the product form. Only a few fields are required; the rest shape how the product behaves.
The basics
- Name — what shoppers see, and what the URL is built from.
- SKU — your own code for the item. Used in exports and inventory.
- Price — the catalogue price before any group pricing or promotion.
- Stock — how many you have, if you are tracking inventory.
Variants
If the product comes in sizes or colours, add options and then generate variants. Each variant carries its own SKU, price, stock and image.
Visibility
A product only appears on the storefront once its status is Active.
